This is something I just remembered: Jerry Swindell and I used to sit in the back of history class with Ms. Parnell and we would have a contest to see who could wiggle their eyes the longest. Jerry was the only person that I knew, other than myself and my mom, who could wiggle their eyes. Wonder if he can still do it. I can.

Married to Lou Ann Turpin on Aug 1, 1987 (Robert's sister - GBHS Class of '82):
Career: Engineer; Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division
Live in Panama City, Florida (since 1989)
One daughter, Sarah Jane, b Oct 29, 1999

Bob Beene (Updated 6-7-08):
 
Here are some of the highlights: 
 
This is Kara Beene, Bob Beene's wife of 23 years.  I am sending some updated information for the Where Are They Now feature of the Gulf Breeze High School Reunion section.  Bob is still working with Lowe's Home Improvement (14 years).  He is a District Manager in charge of several stores and 2,000 employees located on Florida's West coast.
 
Bob was transferred to the Tampa, Florida market  February 1st .    We purchased a home May 1st in the Bradenton/Sarasota area.   We are still unpacking  
boxes which our house guests don't seem to mind, lol.  
 
We became empty nesters this year as our children went off to college. 
 
Jay is 21 years old and a senior, majoring in finance (the apple didn't fall far), at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, NC.  He has a full time job this summer as a counselor for transfer students. 
 
Robyn is 19 years old and a sophomore, majoring in journalism and public relations at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.   She is still looking for summer work.
 
I will let Bob fill you in on the rest.
